I wrote this book because I began to think, once again, about why so many people have problems applying the methods Lynn Grabhorn wrote about in Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting. I’ve talked before about the need to have self-belief and confidence before you undertake any change of direction in life, but I still felt there was a missing ingredient.

I talked to friends who believe in the Law of Attraction, but can’t always make it work. Those discussions made it clear that people have problems controlling their negative thoughts, which overwhelm their ability to focus exclusively on what they want, instead of what they don’t want.

Control Your Thoughts, Change Your Life, explains what happens if you don’t have control over what I call “Mind Gremlins” and shows how to give those Mind Gremlins a makeover. The book provides a series of techniques for overcoming negative thoughts driven by emotions such as doubt, fear, guilt, shame, anger, resentment, judgment and many more.

As well as writing this new book, I’m working on updating my other books and revamping the way we do business. We have great expectations for 2012, with a streamlined selection of e-Books and more frequent posts to keep you up to date with new ideas and observations.
